  • What is your rental fee?

    There is no charge for the rental of the room, it is based on a per-person price depending on what you order off the menu. All prices are subject to a 20% Administrative Fee and 7% State and Local Tax.

  • Can we check availability or schedule a tour?

    Yes, please call our office at (508)-995-3221.

  • Can we bring in our food/liquor?

    No outside food/beverage (except cake/cupcakes from a bakery with a certificate of liability insurance) is allowed to be brought on the premises.

  • Do you charge to cut our cake?

    No, there is no cake-cutting fee.

  • Can I take home leftover food?

    Due to food safety recommendations and Board of Health guidelines, no bulk food is allowed to leave the premises by patrons. We do not pack, hold, or release leftover food.

  • What is the layout of the function space?

    We design floor plans specifically based on each function’s details.

  • Do you offer table linens and is there a fee?

    We offer white linen tablecloths and a variety of color linen napkins. We do not charge a fee for the use of our linens.

  • Do you offer a discounted price for children?

    Yes, children 5-10 years of age are $21 and children under 4 are free unless a special meal is ordered.

  • Do we have to include our vendors in our final count?

    Yes, anyone who will be served dinner must be added to your final count.

  • Can we bring in decorations?

    Yes, but be please advised that taping, tacking, nailing, and any other adherence to walls, ceiling, or paint is prohibited. We do not allow confetti or glitter. No open-flame candles allowed.

  • Can we bring in backdrops?

    Yes, as long as it is free-standing and there is enough space in the room for all your guests to be seated and necessary tables.

  • Can we bring in balloons?

    Yes, as long as the balloons do not contain confetti, paper, glitter, or sprinkles.

  • Do you have audiovisual equipment?

    We have available use of our microphone and screen.

  • Can we hire our own Event Coordinator?

    If a wedding consultant is hired, Century House’s coordinator is still in charge and Century House’s policies must be adhered to.

  • Can we bring in our own alcoholic favors?

    No, alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought onto our premises in compliance with MA State Liquor Law.

  • What time can we/vendors get in to set up?

    10:00 AM for daytime functions and 4:30 PM for evening functions. No early arrival or delivery will be allowed.

  • If my guests bring in food and alcohol, am I responsible?

    Yes, you are responsible for your guests. We will ask them to remove any restricted items. If the first request is not honored, we will reserve the right to ask them to leave the premises or end the event, if necessary. This policy is strictly enforced.
